These bars are the perfect healthy breakfast or mid-day snack.
Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp light brown sugar
1 flax egg
1 cup of Simply unsweetened almond milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 Tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut shreds
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup Enjoy Life chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° and line a 9 inch square dish with parchment paper
In a large dish, combine all ingredients
Bake for 45-50 minutes
Let cool and slice into squares
Store covered in fridge, for up to 5 days
When ready you eat the bar, put it in a microwave safe bowl, pour almond milk on top.
